The secluded sun-trap rear garden is part lawn and has a patio with furniture, an electrically powered sun-awning, charcoal BBQ and is secure for children and pets.
Furnishing emphasis is on quality and comfort, equipped for children of all ages. Toddler and baby equipment is available with well behaved and housetrained dogs always welcome. Family owned & run.
Furnished & maintained to a very high standard throughout, boasting leather recliner soft furnishings, quality beds, LED TV, Blu-ray DVD, Sound bar, Wii & PS3 games and free, unlimited WiFi. There is also a log burner for the cooler months (seasoned logs & kindling supplied).

THE LOCAL AREA:
On your Doorstep… Is a footpath through the fields at the rear leading to Queen Victoria’s obelisk which affords stunning, panoramic views of the river Camel tidal estuary. Walk around the adjacent duck pond and a short flight of steps gives direct access to the Camel Trail cycle way (former railway line) and the South-West Coast Path.
Into Padstow… A further 10-minute level walk beside the picturesque Camel estuary leads directly into Padstow harbour with shops, pubs, restaurants, pleasure & fishing boat trips and the Black Torr Ferry – giving access to Rock’s renowned sailing & water sports facilities. Rick Steins Restaurants, Paul Ainsworth’s No.6, other good restaurants and excellent Bistro’s are located on and around the harbour.
A further short walk past the crazy golf leads to the war-memorial above the harbour with panoramic views of Tregirls beach, Daymer & Polzeath bays across the estuary and to the open sea. Cycles of all types, suitable for all ages are available for hire to cycle the Camel Trail following the river to the nearby town of Wadebridge with a large selection of shops, and beyond to Bodmin.
The local Beaches… The area has an abundance of sandy bathing and surfing beaches. Padstow beach (St Georges Well) is within walking distance, as are Rock and Daymer Bay via the foot ferry. Trevone’s rock-pool and sandy beaches and Harlyn surfing beach are just a 10 minute drive. The surfing beaches of Treyarnon and Constantine are a 15 minute drive and Porthcothan and Mawgan Porth a further 10 minutes along the picturesque coast road. Newquay and it’s many attractions and famous Fistral surfing beach is about 15 miles down the coast. The world famous Eden Project, located close to St. Austell is just 12 miles/30 minutes drive and Truro with its magnificent cathedral just 40 minutes.

Balance to be paid 4 weeks in advance of stay – otherwise reservation & deposit may be lost If booking less than 4 weeks prior to visit then tariff must be paid in full.
Saturday is our regular changeover day but get in touch to request other options.
We advertise our prices for basic accommodation (so folks can bring own bed linens & towels (lower cost, detergent & softener allergies etc)
We can optionally hire out king bed set £20/wk, single bed set %15/wk & towels set £8/wk/person.
Cancellation – In the event of cancellation we will endeavour to resell your reservation, however your deposit will be lost and possibly your full payment.
