We have put together a list of questions that we get asked on a regular basis, however if your question is not here please contact us and we will do our best to answer any queries you may have.
We have adapted our website to the needs of our owners and guests as it has been proven that direct bookings with no booking fees or commission charges are preferred.
Our accommodation packages start from just £75 and are valid for a full 12 months, so hands down the most affordable and effective way to advertise.
Our local services advertising is priced from £14.99 – £24.99 for 12 months.

We welcome any kind of holiday rental and local service wishing to advertise with us and anyone looking for somewhere to advertise their holiday home for sale too.
To advertise accommodation you will need to get in touch with us to set up your user account. We will send you your log in details and a payment link with details of how to continue to build your listing. Once done and payment is received we will publish you live to the website and you will be ready to accept bookings!

To advertise your local service please get in touch: contact@sevenbaysholidays.co.uk – these adverts are added by admin.
You are able to place any relevant information to your holiday rental on your listing. You will always have full access to the owner dashboard where you will be able to make instant updates as often as you like. We generally find the more information you place on the advert then the more enquiries and bookings it will generate.
Unfortunately the only thing we do not allow is a direct link to a website or alternative listing platform, we appreciate your cooperation.
All enquiries and booking requests are sent direct to the email address registered and every notification will have instructions of what action is required.
Always reply directly to the highlighted guest’s email – as this is a DO NOT REPLY mailbox – meaning if you use the reply button the guest will not be receive.
Yes. we can add your listing for you and simply hand over to you once complete and ready to accept enquiries/bookings – a very popular choice.
I also offer a consultation service where you can make an appointment to come to me in St Merryn and we sit down together, add your listing and learn a few tips on how to manage your online account. This can now also be done with a phone call.
There is also a ‘How To’ section under the Owner heading with step by step guides for every stage of managing your listing including adding a listing or you can contact us to request any help.
The most important thing is once you have purchased your advertising there are no other payments/commission fees/booking fees etc payable.
You have access to your listing at all times, you can add up to 15 pictures of your holiday rental, you can edit your listing at any time, unlimited description text, nightly/weekly pricing, location map, Owner profile and an availability calendar that can be synced to other listings using iCal.
Every enquiry is sent directly to you and all payments are dealt with by you as the owner. Your listing will be optimised so it can achieve the best placement possible in search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc) as well as on social media and a featured listings category which is regularly refreshed.
You are also part of a growing local business and local community that is all about supporting local people and services in the Seven Bays and surrounding areas.
You have full control of your listing and you can edit your listing as often or little as you choose.
All payments are handled between you the owner and the guest. Seven Bays Holidays takes no active role in any payments.
It has been proven that our owners overwhelmingly prefer to accept all bookings and payments directly from guests, so we adapted our website to accommodate this.
If you accept online payments please tick the box in the amenities section to appear on your listing.
Yes we can. This website is unique and offers a page dedicated to local people and companies who advertise on the website. Please see our Housekeeping/maintenance/services page for full details.
Yes. We have iCal installed on this website that can currently be linked to Airbnb, Booking.com and Homeaway.
Please view the step by step guide on how to add iCal to your listings.

NO – After recent feedback from all owners it was established that direct bookings and payments were preferred, so we have created our website in line with this.

As an owner with a listing on this website you are free to cancel at any time. This action can only be activated by admin, so you would need to request this.
You can however choose to disable your listing at any time – this just removes it from public view but the listing can be reactivated by pressing enable.
If you have an advert with us then you need to get in touch and ask us to edit or remove it for you and this will be done as soon as possible. Your advert is valid for 12 months from the date you start advertising on the website.
Yes we can! We are always looking to improve ways that we can help our local owners and after several requests we have added a new category: Holiday rentals for sale. Please get in touch using our email if you are interested in using this service. We take no part in the actual sale here at Seven Bays Holidays this is strictly between the legal owner and the purchaser.
Unfortunately we do not allow any direct website links to be added to your listing. This is purely so we can monitor our website and to keep in line with data protection regulations.
We are happy for you to mention that you have a website/social media advertising in your description but not to ask guests to contact via that method, you are required to ask guests to contact you via the website only.
We reserve the right to withdraw your listing if you do not follow the terms and conditions set by Seven Bays Holidays.
We have created a search category specifically for this purpose making it easier for guests to search for dog-friendly accommodation.
You need to log in to your account and go to my listings and on the description page you will see a drop down menu – select dog-friendly or not available to select which search category you will appear in.
