Fairfield is nestled on a farm just a short stroll from the South West Coast Path at beautiful Porthcothan Bay. This is the perfect retreat for walkers, runners, beach-goers, open-water swimmers, and anyone seeking to slow down and reconnect with the natural world. If you don’t like the hustle and bustle of a caravan park, but want to avoid some of the high prices of hotels in the area, then this could be the perfect solution.
We welcome a maximum of two well-behaved dogs who will love the secure garden. There is an additional charge of £20 per dog per stay.

Other things to note
Whilst we welcome two well-behaved dogs to join you, we do ask that you keep your dog on a lead at all times whilst on the farm unless you are in the fenced garden area. Please also ensure that you pick up after your dog and use the porch area to towel down your dog before entering the caravan.
The fields are currently planted with winter barley. Please be mindful that these are harvested in the summer. When machinery is around please take extra care with children and pets.

Hi, I’m Lucy, my husband and I are both retired professionals who love the outdoors, people and dogs and have combined all three in running our dog friendly holiday business ‘Trevethan Escapes’ in Porthcothan on my family farm. We enjoy outdoor sports such as coastal running, sea swimming and surfing and have completed several ironman events. We are passionate about sharing our beautiful stretch of coastline with visitors.
