If you are a holiday home owner and are able to be flexible and can accept shorter stays at a moments notice then this is definitely the trend for August 2026!!
Here’s what to look out for and what you can do to fill those gaps:
*Guests are choosing shorter stays of 2-4 nights
*Facebook groups are proving more popular than ever for owners advertising and guests searching
*last second has now overtaken last minute!
What can you do to grab these bookings…?
*Use the groups – join as many as you can, add posts regularly using your link from your listing and answer as many enquiries as you can – yes its time consuming but it’s absolutely FREE!
*KEEP YOUR CALENDAR UPDATED!! A regular request from us at Seven Bays Holidays – it is soooooo important for the guests looking and the credibility of the website over all. If you need a hand here is the guide for a reminder.
*keep your listing fresh and inviting.
*if you are able to be flexible and can afford to accept shorter stays and even offer discounted stays this is the key. (we fully appreciate this isn’t always possible)
