Description
Welcome to Sea Thrift: our bright and comfortable three‑bedroom caravan, recently re-sited to give guests a more sheltered, private setting with peaceful countryside views. It’s a relaxed, practical base for couples or families wanting to stay close to Porthcothan Bay without the bustle of a holiday park.
Inside, you’ll find a welcoming lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, and three bedrooms: a master with an ensuite WC, plus two twin rooms. The layout works well for up to six guests, with plenty of space to unwind after a day exploring the coast.
Sea Thrift sits on our family farm just a short stroll from Porthcothan Beach. You’ll be well placed for cliff walks, beach days and visiting nearby highlights such as Bedruthan Steps, Watergate Bay, Mawgan Porth and Padstow. The No. 56 bus makes one‑way walks easy if you prefer not to loop back.
Outside, the caravan now benefits from a more private and secure garden area thanks to its new position. It’s an easy spot for morning coffee, reading in the sun, or relaxing outdoors with dinner after a day out.
Inside, you’ll have everything needed for a comfortable stay: central heating, double glazing, a hot shower, WiFi and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Sea Thrift is a simple, peaceful place to slow down and enjoy this beautiful part of Cornwall.
We welcome up to two well‑behaved dogs. Please keep dogs on a lead around the farm unless inside the fenced garden, and use the porch area to towel them down after walks. A charge of £20 per dog per stay applies.
If you’re travelling with a larger group, our other holiday homes — Fairfield and Sunny Orchard — are available nearby.
Other things to note :
The surrounding fields are planted with seasonal crops. During harvest periods, please take extra care with children and pets when machinery is present.
Please pick up after your dog at all times.
