‘Cosy Corner Cabin 199’ on Atlantic Bays Park in Cornwall

Welcome to ‘Cosy Corner Cabin 199’ on Atlantic Bays Park in St Merryn, Cornwall.

Situated on a lovely quiet part of this family and dog-friendly Park you are just minutes from the seaside in the glorious Seven Bays area of Cornwall making it the perfect location to stay and explore the area whatever the time of year.

Atlantic Bays Park is a lovely family orientated park and is perfect if you are looking for a fab location where you can either relax and chill out or explore everything that is on your doorstep… Just a few minutes’ drive to the seven gorgeous beaches of the Seven Bays, 2 minutes’ drive to the village of St Merryn and around 5 minutes’ drive to the popular town of Padstow.

You are also within walking distance from ‘The Venue’ just over the road on the St Merryn Holiday Village which has regular entertainment, a bar and restaurant (opening times can vary for season) and onsite there are plenty of open spaces for the children to roam free. The park are currently in the process of updating and renovating a large area as you enter to include a pool and other facilities – more details to follow.

*** Please note that we have only just bought the chalet so are still in the process of finishing things off so more photos will be added very soon. Also the TV will be replaced with a larger one and possibly WiFi and a few more bits and bobs added too 😊 ***

The accommodation:
The chalet is modern, light and surprisingly spacious offering a traditional open plan kitchen/living/dining area leading off onto two generous bedrooms and a bathroom with walk in shower.

The Kitchen is very well laid out with modern units and everything you will need for your stay including an electric oven and hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge with icebox with a dining table with 4 chairs.

There is a spacious modern family bathroom with a shower enclosure with a white suite and heated towel rail.

The open plan lounge/dining area has a comfortable sofa, TV and plenty of light coming in and when the sun is shining and its a challenge not to have a little snooze in the sunbeams 😉

There is a spacious and light double bedroom and another good-sized single bedroom next door with two single beds, both with ample storage.

Outside you have a great sized patio area with a picnic table to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or an evening sundowner.

Parking is available in large parking areas on the park and from here you walk up a little path to the chalet and we provide a trolley to help with this 🙂

*DOGS – we are happy to allow 1 well behaved dog to stay with you for an additional £20, but the park rules apply and also they are not allowed to go in the bedrooms or on the furniture, please get in touch with details of breed and age and we will be happy to provide full details for booking.

* BEDDING – we supply all duvets, pillows and protectors for your beds but you will need to bring your own bed linen and towels for your stay.
If you would like us to provide a bedding package for you and have your beds made up on arrival, we are happy to do this but there is a small additional charge of £10 per bed.

*WHATS INCLUDED – We supply duvets, pillows and protectors, 1 x bathmat, 1 x toilet roll, 1 x hand towel and 1 x tea towel. We also leave a little cleaning kit under the sink and supply a trolley to help you to take your items to/from your vehicle and/or to the local beach.
FYI: This is self-catering holiday accommodation, so you will need to bring everything else with you including towels/beach towels etc…

Booking T’s & C’s:
Strictly no smoking/vaping or charging of electrical vehicles in the chalet thank you.

Our regular change over day is Saturday but happy to accommodate other dates out of peak weeks, just get in touch and we will be happy to try and help you out. There is a minimum 3 night stay usually.

There is a non-refundable £100 deposit to secure your booking and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival which is paid via bank transfer – we always confirm safe receipt of any payment for everyone’s peace of mind. We are sorry but there are no refunds/cancellations once confirmed.

There is also (a refundable) security bond of £75 which is fully refunded on your day of departure after our cleaner has been in and checked everything.
