Waves Cottage ~ walk to Harlyn beach in Cornwall ~ family and dog-friendly

Welcome to Waves Cottage in Cornwall – a modern terraced dog friendly 3 bedroom holiday home just 3 mins walk from Harlyn Beach.

We can accommodate 6 guests in our modern, spacious cottage by the beach sitting right next to the Harlyn Inn. There is a secure outside seating area with a very comfortable corner sofa unit and a large cantilever sun shade at the rear of the property and there is a large Weber BBQ in the garden for guest use, there are also a couple of windbreaks in the garden which you can take to the beach too.

Bedroom 1 has a king size bed with ensuite and has a 32″ TV with an Amazon fire stick, bedroom 2 has a double bed and in the third bedroom there are two full size single bunks configured in an L shape meaning the bottom one can be used as a single bed (FYI: the top bunk is only suitable for children up to about age 12 – please contact us before booking to confirm).

We have installed Sky TV, Wifi and as this is our Cornish Home too, we have taken time try to make it homely and comfortable. There is a modern fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, and dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine etc… Our cupboards are stocked with all the bits and pieces you may need to create fabulous meals or you may just want to visit the endless number of excellent restaurants in the area. However, If you use up any of the spices etc in the store cupboard please be kind enough to replace what you use with the same or similar for the convenience of the next guests, thank you.

There is a family bathroom with bath, an ensuite with double shower from the main bedroom and a downstairs cloakroom with WC.

A few additional notes regarding booking Waves Cottage:
To find out availability and book direct with us simply enter your details on the calendar and press the Send an Enquiry button and we will respond directly to you – there are no additional fees when you book direct with us via this website.

Please note our house is STRICTLY a maximum of 6 guests.

Dogs:
We allow a maximum of 2 medium size dogs. £25 extra per dog to be paid prior to arrival and PLEASE clean off dogs outside or in the porch area.
Very well behaved dogs are welcome but are NOT allowed in the upstairs rooms an extra fee of £25 per visit will be applied per dog to allow for any extra cleaning and this should be paid direct to us up to 1 week before arrival – PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE BRINGING A DOG so we can inform our cleaner.
We have put a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs to prevent dogs (and small children) climbing the stairs.

PLEASE no soggy wet suits through into the house!

We have provided a travel cot and high chair.
We have a minimum of 7 nights unless otherwise authorised by us first.
Our bookings are currently SATURDAY TO SATURDAY, please contact us for any other check in enquiries
All Linen is provided but due to spiralling costs we are unable to provide bath towels and beach towels
Please note you should also bring your own T towel as the laundry will not wash these for us. Please be so kind as to strip all beds and put linen in the bath in the main bathroom, thank you.

Check in only available after 3pm Check out by 10.00 am both to allow for full cleaning of the property. We do try if possible to be flexible with these times. Please contact me if you need to leave or arrive at a different time.
Keys are available at the property (if no-one is able to meet you) You will be given the code of the lock box before your arrival.

Other useful things to note:
A car is recommended for this property but is not essential. There is a local bus which travels between Newquay and Padstow about 5 mins from the house. It is a great place to kick off your shoes and relax. There is a Tesco store in Padstow for essentials and you can also get a grocery delivery straight to the house.

The little village of St Merryn is a short drive away with restaurants, bakery, deli, pizza takeout, Chinese takeout and the St Merryn store which sells just about anything and has the largest walk in beer/wine chiller in Cornwall!!!
