Seaview is situated on a working arable farm, Trevethan Farm, providing privacy and off road parking with views across the farm fields to the sea. If you don’t like the hustle and bustle of a caravan park then this could be the perfect solution.
Seaview is a 38ft x 12ft modern 3-bedroom static caravan. As well as Gas Central Heating and double glazing it has an ensuite toilet in the master bedroom and a separate family bathroom with shower. WiFi is also available during your stay and there is a lovely private garden for the sole use of our guests at Seaview.
Situated just half a mile from beautiful Porthcothan beach, this area has everything you need for the perfect stay. Situated 5 miles from Padstow and 6 miles from Newquay, Seaview Caravan is ideally located on the coast with a bus stop around 400m walk away at nearby McDonalds Farm. Newquay airport is also just a few miles away.
Porthcothan beach, shop/cafe, tea rooms and the South West Coast Path are all within a short walk. The fields that surround the caravan lead down into Porthcothan valley taking you into a nature’s haven with birds, wildflowers, flora and fauna during spring & summer.
A choice awaits you as you enter the valley and cross the pretty bridge, the footpath takes you all the way to Penrose (right) a lovely walk or turn left leading you to the beach (10 mins) where you can step onto a beautiful sandy beach, sunbathe, swim & surf. Lifeguards are on duty during the main holiday season.
Some excellent restaurants are close by including the well known Rick Stein & Paul Ainsworth, Nathan Outlaw chefs as well as smaller but equally delicious restaurants, cafes, pubs and secret spots! (Listed in your welcome guide)
Along the cliffs to the left of the beach is one of the famous filming location of Poldark and onto stunning Bedruthan Steps where you must stop at the highly recommended national trust cafe. Further on at Mawgan Porth you can enjoy a cheeky cocktail on the deck of The Scarlett Hotel.
Along the cliff path to the right leads to Treyarnon beach another well worth visit especially for the view & sunsets. Padstow of course itself has many excellent restaurants, boat trips & tours and lovely shops located all around the harbour. For the golf enthusiasts Trevose Golf club is also nearby.
Ideal for short or long breaks a perfect location for a getaway. Couples and families only.
Other things to note
We welcome up to two well behaved dogs to join you but ask that they are kept on a lead at all times unless in the secure garden area. This is a working farm and this is primarily for safety reasons. We charge an additional £20 per stay per dog.
