Welcome to Macdonald’s Farm…

Our family owned and run farm caters for everyone and is the perfect spot to either come and stay with us or visit for the day.

We are perfectly situated close to the beach with far reaching country views in a quiet secluded spot, disturbed only by the sound of our animals – why not come and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep with an uninterrupted panoramic sky, perfect for star gazing.

We are a quiet family-run site where you can sleep under the Cornish stars, eat some of the best local food in our wonderful farm garden, meet our animals, ride a pony or enjoy a drink or two on our gorgeous veranda and soak in the views of the valley.

Porthcothan beach is only a 10 minute walk away and is a delightful little bay, great for bathing, surfing and snorkelling an idyllic place for both families and couples. We are situated in the best area to explore the North Coast and local hot spots of Padstow & Newquay. We also have a bus stop to take you either way along the coast.

We offer a wide selection of accommodation to choose from including: Camping, Glamping, Touring caravans and B&B.

Our Campsite: is perfect for both families and couples looking for a chilled, relaxing holiday. (we do allow small groups but please call to confirm before booking). We offer electric and non-electric grass pitches for tents, motorhomes & caravans.
Our campsite is quite a special place, surrounded by hedgerows in small enclaves. Located at the top of the valley on a gentle sloped site, offering beautiful panoramic views. We have excellent on-site drainage and brand-new toilet/shower facilities.

The Farm has undergone a massive rebrand and refurbishment and we are proud to offer new, stylish and modern facilities and accommodation.

Our Glamping accommodation: We offer a range of glamping options including our Safari tents, The Potting Barn and Mawgies – our two hidden cabins with beautiful interiors and even a real log burner, absolute heaven for those that want a little luxury.

Our B&B accommodation: We have 3 beautiful and stylish sea view B&B rooms, all with private bathrooms and a continental/hot breakfast included in your stay.

Food at the Farm: Come and enjoy our amazing range of locally sourced Farm delights from our Farm kitchen. Enjoy dining in our beautiful cafe area, take in the views from our terrace seating area or eat at our picnic tables under festoon lights in the Farm Garden.
Our bar and cafe will also be open daily with a wide range of drinks to enjoy too!
