Constantine beach walk

Here is a suggestion for a lovely walk at Constantine…

There are many stunning walks around the coastline everywhere in Cornwall, but this part of the world has some of the best in my opinion. There are so many to choose from but one of my particular favourites is a lovely walk from Trevose golf club using the public footpath that runs alongside the course and offers glimpses all the way along of marram grass covered dunes and tamarisk blowing in the breeze. The path comes out at the base of the dunes and if you follow the various paths on offer then you come up over the hill and are faced with the sights, sounds and full expanse of the ocean and beach in all its glory. You can follow the path around to the left to Treyarnon bay or take a right and head to Booby’s bay if the tide is out and then back over the dunes or follow the road back to the golf course. Please always follow the public footpaths and take care to only stick to the main pathways if walking through the dunes. The marram grasses are protected and are a natural form of sea defence so please respect this. Always take your rubbish home, and feel free to take part in a little bit of beach cleaning using the equipment provided at the entrance to the beach.
