Meet the owner of Seven Bays Holidays…

Hi there, my name is Jane, and I am the proud owner and creator of Seven Bays Holidays. Here’s a little bit more information about myself and the creation of Seven Bays Holidays…

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Cornwall and have lived in many locations all over the South West but have always felt at peace in and around the Seven Bays area, like I have come home. It seemed only natural to build the website here and I am fortunate to live in such an amazing place.

Have you always been involved in holiday rentals and property?

Yes – I have worked in hospitality, property development and the holiday rental industry for over 20 years and have so much to offer in helping owners who are new to the holiday rental game. It’s a common mistake that this is an easy way to make a living – trust me, it’s not! It takes a lot of hard work, dedication and finding out things the hard way to get ahead in this highly competitive world.

What made you decide to build the website?

I had the idea back in 2015, but actually began building it from scratch in early 2023. It was always my ambition to start up my own holiday rental website, see it grow and share this beautiful part of the world with anyone who cares to share it with me. 

Has it been easy?

NO! It’s been the most challenging thing I have done in my whole life!! But linking local people, local businesses and property owners all on one affordable platform was always what I wanted to do and it’s been absolutely amazing to have helped so many people along the way. We are like a huge family now, and the pleasure I get from hearing back from people that it has worked for them really is just the best feeling in the world! 

Is it easy to join?

YES! The website was designed with the added bonus that we do most of the admin so we can add a listing for an owner and hand over ready to take bookings and we create and add the adverts for our local services too – you do not get that on any other website!!

Is it expensive to advertise?

NO – Our advertising packages are extremely affordable, that was another huge key aspect when building the website. There is one flat fee to advertise for a full 12 months, no commission, no other costs and no other fees – all bookings go through you so you keep all your hard earned money.

Do you ever stop?

Not really!! I am always working on new ideas and thinking ahead to come up with new ways to help everyone on the website 😉

I am very proud of Seven Bays Holidays and to be able to support everyone in and out of season in this beautiful area and I look forward to welcoming all holiday rental owners and local services joining me on this journey.
