Tregavone Farm is a family run, dog-friendly campsite offering Camping, Glamping, Touring and Static Caravans in St Merryn, Padstow, Cornwall.

Situated in peaceful surroundings on a 120 acre family farm and run by the Dennis family; Kelly, Richard and their 2 children: Mawgan & Archie plus their labradoodle Wren. They are the 5th generation in the farmhouse after taking the reins from John and Ethel Dennis and Family is still at the heart of this campsite – run by family for families.

Approximately two miles from Padstow, the main site area is on part of a large level field which gives panoramic, unspoilt views over the adjoining valley and countryside. With a maximum of 50 pitches combining camping, glamping, campervan, caravan and touring pitches the site is blissfully uncommercialised however don’t panic about charging your tech, as 40 of the pitches have electric hook ups. There is also a football pitch and a lovingly built swing & slide courtesy of Richard and there’s plenty of open field area for running, playing and working up an appetite!

Glamping:
We have 3 new bell tents allowing for the ultimate glamping experience, it couldn’t be easier – all you need to do is bring yourselves!

Our bell tents are situated in our lovely little meadow and conveniently just a short stroll to the toilet & shower block. With legitimate mattresses and beds and each tent features a beautiful ‘festival feel’ décor. If that’s not enough how wonderful will it be to gather round the communal fire pit in the evenings watching the stars, toasting marshmallows and using BBQ’s supplied by us … as what is a holiday without cooking in the outdoors? You can also treat yourself to one of our amazing Pizzas from our resident Tregavone Pizza Box.

The Bell tents are very roomy and comfortable sleeping 4, Ideal for either 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children, it is a great way to spend your holiday and is the perfect retreat. Each tent comes with a double bed and extra single beds for children. We supply bedding, blankets, electric, lighting, fridge, hot water bottles, BBQ and firepit which comes with a free bag of wood and marshmallow’s for your arrival.

We have a beautiful under cover fully equipped kitchen area with a large communal table just for glampers use and Free Wi-Fi.

Park next to your tent – 1 car included in price £3 per extra car per night. We are a family friendly and Dog-Friendly campsite, we do request that you keep your dogs on a lead at all times as we are still a working farm, thank you.

Camping
The size of the pitches are 11m ×11m with an onsite parking spot too meaning you won’t ever feel claustrophobic. Pitch up, sit back, replenish and breathe in that fresh Cornish air.

Static Caravan Hire:

About the Farm:
We are dog-friendly, however it is a working farm with sheep grazing peacefully in adjacent meadows, so the only requirement is to ask owners to keep their dogs on a lead. We do have a dedicated dog walking area.

Fancy a little break from cooking on your camping stove or travelling to eat out? Then look no further as we have our very own Tregavone Pizza Box serving up freshly made, woodfired pizza on site up to three times a week! Enjoy your fantastic food by your own pitch and take in the incredible scenery – and for the over 18’s, maybe a traditional Cornish ale or beer to wash it down in our brand new bar area.

Location:
Being situated in 2 acres of valley in St Merryn which includes ponds, it is a wonderful place to explore, ramble and see how much different wildlife you can spot. Our location also means that on a clear night, the starry skies are a sight to be seen. Getting back to nature but where flushing toilets and hot showers are never more than a hop, skip and a jump away especially with the addition of the new shower block.

The farm also sells some of its own produce including farm eggs, homemade jams & chutneys.
