Number 2 Bay Retreat Villas is a stylish, contemporary, comfortable and spacious 2 bedroom holiday villa, situated close to seven fabulous beaches on the North Cornish Coast. The perfect base for a great family seaside holiday and well located for exploring the whole of Cornwall.

Sleeping up to 4 guests in comfort – a travel cot or put up bed can be added for a 5th guest on request – the twin beds can be made into a super king on request and Bed linen & towels (excluding beach towels) are provided for your comfort and convenience.

​You enter into a lovely modern open plan kitchen, living and dining area where you’ll find everything you need including Cooker, Microwave, Fridge and Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing machine and plenty of crockery and cutlery.

In the living area you will find comfortable sofas with patio doors out to the private garden and patio area with a downstair cloakroom and WC.

Upstairs are the two spacious double bedrooms and a family bathroom.

To the rear is a private outside patio area with garden furniture & gas barbecue (gas provided) and to the front is private parking for 1 car with additional parking at the rear of the complex if required.

Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout, family and dog-friendly – 2 dogs go free – and the whole villa is tastefully decorated, light and airy.

Our Location:
Our properties are conveniently located on the outskirts of St Merryn and within easy reach of the main A30 and of course the historic fishing harbour town of Padstow. The parish of St Merryn is unique in boasting seven magnificent, unspoilt, sandy beaches on its coastline, all have lifeguards in attendance between May and October.

St Merryn village has all the local amenities you’ll need. Garage, shops, takeaways, bars and restaurants as well as wet suit and surf board hire. There are three golf courses in the vicinity, designated cycle paths and moorland walks. Coastal pathways overlook some of the finest stretches of scenery found in Cornwall.

We are located just 3 miles from the historic harbour town of Padstow which offers so much, from speedboat trips around the bay, to pubs, shops, restaurants and galleries. Why not hire a bike and explore the Camel Trail or take the ferry across the estuary to rock or even take a relaxing trip on the Jubilee Queen out to Puffin Island.

There’s plenty for the kids to do too – If the 7 safe sandy beaches are not enough, Tide Climbing Center, Camel Creek adventure park, The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Cornish Birds of Prey, Dairy Land, Springfields Activity and Pony Center, Old McDonalds Farm (just to mention a few of the attractions) are all a short drive away.

Dog-friendly:
We know that your four legged friend is a valued member of the family and that your holiday just wouldn’t be the same without them, so we welcome dog guests and want them to have a great holiday to!

What’s better than starting each day of your holiday with a walk on one of the fabulous beaches all within easy reach. Six of which are dog friendly all year round.
We provide a Doggy Welcome Pack which includes poo bags, sofa throws, bowls, treats and dog tags with your holiday address on just in case they wander off.

We only ask that you do not allow your dogs on the sofa or beds and that you clean up after your pet. Please do not leave your pet alone for long periods and ensure that your pet is not a nuisance to other guests. (Dog sitters can be found on the website in the Local services category)

There are dog friendly pubs, restaurants and gardens, in fact Cornwall is VERY dog friendly! We welcome responsible dog owners and politely ask that you clean up after your dog.
