Hillside cottage (with Hot-tub) near Padstow in Cornwall is a delightful, secluded, spacious and deeply comfortable self catering cottage with big views of the surrounding countryside and the sea, and just a 10 minute walk to Treyarnon beach across the fields. Hillside and it’s beautiful nearby beaches are dog-friendly.
Easily accommodating up to eight guests it will appeal to toddlers, teens, grandparents and everyone in-between. From ice-cream fanatics and surfers to bird-watchers to walkers, there is something for everyone here at Hillside Cottage.
Consisting of three spacious and light double bedrooms and a fourth bedroom being a charming twin. Guests often compliment on the comfort of the large beds, which are either king sized or super king and are made up with quality, cotton bed-linen.
All three bath and shower rooms are pristine, with deep pile towels and plenty of hot water.
Situated in a raised, protected area of the garden is the hot-tub including a lounger, atmospheric lights, and complementary hot-tub towels. It is surrounded by decking and in command of a beautiful view of the sunset over the Treyarnon Bay. Dinner outside is just lovely!
The layout of Hillside is as follows…
Upstairs: The Master Bedroom – A large room with a king-size bed, en suite bathroom with bath and separate shower and 32” LCD TV.
Bedroom 2: Another large room with a super king sized /zip linked bed, separate WC and shower room, 19” LCD TV with integral DVD player.
Downstairs: Bedroom 3 – A large room, super king bed/zip-linked, LCD TV and full sized working desk.
Family Bath and shower room opposite.
Bedroom 4: Two single beds, monitor with inbuilt DVD, desk and toys.
A cot is also available.
Lounge with huge views, leather furnishings, lovely fabrics and 50″ SMART TV with Freeview, Netflix, Prime, Disney etc and a separate DVD player. We have a wide selection of DVD’s, books and games. From the lounge there are French doors to the outside, enclosed decking with two steps down to garden.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with under-unit lighting, electric ceramic hob, double electric fan oven and grill, under unit fridge with a large fridge freezer in the utility room, dishwasher, microwave, food processor, blender and electric beater.
Freshly ground coffee is important and so we have an Aeropress as well as a cafetiere – no need to worry about capsules – only the coffee.
Open plan dining area with extendible beech table which easily opens out to seat 10 people.
A heated utility room and with washing machine and separate tumble dryer. and separate and large fridge freezer. A great area to dry wet dogs!
Ironing equipment. Clothes rack and outdoor clothes line. A high-chair and cot are available on request.
Outside:
Breath taking views over the fields to Treyarnon Bay. and a pretty enclosed garden with an elevated decked area and outside table and benches. There is easy access from front door and downstairs room and bathroom suitable for those with mobility restrictions,
Off road parking for 3 cars.
The enclosed garden is safe, private and secluded.

We set a lot of store in providing you with a lovely holiday home and are particular about ensuring that the pictures tell the truth. We care about high quality sleep; cleanliness, bright clean bath rooms, warmth and comfort and Cornwall does the rest.
We do accept dog(s) – please send us details of breed and how many you wish to bring and we can confirm details with you.
We have a hot-tub – secluded but with lovely views over the fields to the bay and we ask you to sign a disclaimer to help you and your guests keep safe.
The cleaning fees are for both the house, all linen and the hot-tub. (New (2017) Health and Safety directives have increased the checks and tests across the hot-tub)
During HIGH season (April to October) our changeover day is SATURDAY – Bookings are for a minimum of 7 nights.
In LOW season (November to March) we may accept short stay bookings of four nights please get in touch with your requirements.
One dog only - 2 dogs are on request
no pets upstairs or on furniture.
Dog mess must be cleared from the garden - fine by cleaners of £20.00
Groups must include adult over age of 25 years who will act as Guarantor for overall care of Hillside Property.
Hot-Tub, rules in Disclaimer, quiet after 10pm
Off road parking for 3 cars only.
From 20 March to end October bookings are for 1 week minimum from Saturdays.
4 day minimum stays for low season except all half-terms, Christmas week (21-28 Dec 2023) and New Year week (28 Dec- 3 Jan 2024) which are for ONE WEEK minimum.
As we are on a soak away we supply environmentally friendly cleaning products. Please bring extra 2 ply loo paper.
Strictly no charging of electrical vehicles.
Payment is to be made within 6 weeks of arrival with full cancellation and refund if before the 6 weeks.
