Description

Welcome to ‘Bluebell Lodge’ where you can enjoy a peaceful stay in pure comfort enjoying the restful sounds of birdsong and the babbling brook from your large enclosed decked area and your own enclosed garden 🙂

Located on Rosewater Park on the edge of the Cornish village of St Teath you have the best of both worlds with everything you need within walking distance including The White Heart Public House, a local butcher and handy shops – yet only 5 minutes off the A39 Atlantic Highway.

There are lots of lovely walks around the local area and Wadebridge, Camelford, Rock, Padstow and Boscastle are only a short drive away giving you the perfect combination of coastal and countryside.

(Bluebell Lodge is recently purchased so there are still a few things to finish up, but more details and photos will follow soon and as the seasons change…)

The accommodation:
The residential specification lodge is light, spacious, open plan and welcoming with everything provided for your comfort and ease including WiFi, smart TV, gas central heating and double glazing throughout.

In the living room there is a lovely electric wood-burner style heater to add to the cosy vibe, a large smart TV with streaming services (just log in to your account), ample comfortable seating and a handmade dining table to enjoy your meals or a friendly board game. There are also doors opening onto the front enclosed decked balcony area.

The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including iconic Cornish Blue crockery, a full size fridge freezer, gas hob and electric oven, Air-fryer, microwave, toaster and all the necessary pots, pans and crockery etc… There is also a washing machine provided with a rotary washing line outside in your garden.

There is a large double bedroom to the rear of the lodge which has a very comfortable double bed, plenty of storage and a large window overlooking the rear decked area and the countryside beyond. All bed linen and towels are included in your stay – so you can just turn up, relax and enjoy your surroundings in comfort.

The light and spacious bathroom has a modern large walk in shower, toilet and basin.

Outside, following the decking around to the rear, there is a beautiful stream and the sounds are just heaven from the steady rippling of the water enjoyed from a very large decked area which catches the sun nearly all day. There is a table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening sundowner enjoying the beautiful sunsets over the fields behind.

There are steps down to the water if you wish to dip your toes to cool down, and to the side of the lodge there is also a beautiful enclosed garden with fruit trees for your use and enjoyment with parking for one car alongside.

Dogs:
I am very happy to allow 1 well behaved small dog to stay with you, but they are NOT allowed to go in the bedroom or on the furniture, please get in touch with details of breed and age and I will be happy to provide full details for booking. There are park rules also which stipulate that dogs are not allowed off leads and mess is to be picked up and disposed of correctly. No dogs are allowed to be left in the holiday lodge unattended and if any damage is found to have been caused during your stay we will unfortunately have to keep some or all of your security deposit to cover this.

Security deposit: If you are booking with your dog there is an additional security deposit of £50 – please see notes above.

What’s included in your stay:
All bedding is provided, also towels (1 x set per person), bathmat, tea towel, oven glove and a few basic cleaning items provided under the sink. WiFi is also included and fair use of utilities for your stay. Parking for one car is in the (shared) driveway to the side of the lodge on the left. Charging of electrical vehicles is not available at this time and is strictly forbidden at the lodge, we hope to add this at a later date.

Booking Terms and conditions:
Strictly no smoking/vaping or charging of electrical vehicles in the holiday home and we do ask you to respect the neighbouring homes during your stay with us.

Please get in touch with your dates and requirements and I will be more than happy to help if I can. Short stays are welcome although there is a minimum 3 nights to proceed and I am always happy to offer slightly longer stays if required.

There is a non refundable £100 deposit to secure your booking and the balance is due on or before 8 weeks prior to arrival which is paid via bank transfer – I always confirm safe receipt of all payments for everyone’s peace of mind. I am sorry but there are no refunds/cancellations once confirmed.
